AEROPORTI DI PUGLIA S.p.A is the Company that manages the four Apulian Airports of Bari, Brindisi, Foggia and Grottaglie under Italian Civil Aviation Authority concession (Enac). Shortly, Aeroporti di Puglia activity has as its main purpose the development in design and management of the infrastructures for the excercise of airport activities and for the assignment and coordination of related commercial activities.

The development of airport infrastructure and services operated by Aeroporti di Puglia is aimed to increase connectivity, deseasonalize traffic and promote sustainable aviation, with a strong focus on innovation, efficiency, environmental protection and strategic integration at a European level in relation with international projects for “green” air mobility.
The Aeroporti di Puglia S.p.A. company has an effective Environmental Management System in place, certified according to the requirements of the international standard UNI EN ISO 14001, for the following certification purpose:
“PROVISION OF GROUND ASSISTANCE SERVICES TO AIRCRAFT AND PASSEGERS, MANAGEMENT AND MAINTENACE OF INFRASTRUCTURES, AIRPORT SECURITY AND EMERCENCY MANAGEMENT”.
For every four regulatory years, with the periodic signing of the Planning Agreement between Enac and Aeroporti di Puglia pursuant art. 1 paragraph 11 of the Legislative Decree 12 september 2014 n.133, the Company guarantees the continuity of investments intended for the development of airport infrastructures and the commitment to innovation and sustainability that have always been the main principles of the company strategy.
The ongoing investments carry out a further strengthening of the services offered to passengers and the improvement of the efficiency of services to carriers and strengthen the competitiveness of the Apulian airports, with a careful eye on the new challenges of suborbital transport in which the Grottaglie Spaceport is destined to play a fundamnetal role.

As part of the Program Contract, the Environmental Protection Plan is drawn up, in accordance with the criteria and guidelines established by ENAC and according to the indications of Directive 2009/12/CE of the European Parliament and of the Council, which establishes the commitments undertaken in the environmental field and identifies the environmental protection indicators with which the Company monitors, during each year, the achievement of the objectives.
In carrying out its acitivities, aimed to offer safe, efficient and commensurated to user’s expetations, AdP is committed to environment protection through compliance with law obligations and the adoption of the principles of sustainable development.
